How will each moto be scored?
The scoring will be done by MX standards not quad. Each moto will be scored depending on what place the rider crosses the finish line. We take the average of the two motos and combine them together for an average overall placement. In the event of a tied position with another rider from moto 1 to moto 2, then moto number 2 will determine the overall position. Example- rider with bike number 839 places 1st in the first moto and rider 482 finishes 2nd in the first moto, then on the second moto the reverse happens, then rider 482 will have a final position of 1st place. Second moto determines the overall score in the event of a tie. Example: The graph below will demonstrate what happens when the tie involves a DNF. Rider #4 got a 4th place on moto 1 and a DNF on Moto 2, and rider #93 got a DNF on moto 1 and 4th on moto 2. We now have a tie. The determining factor to break the tie, is “Who done better on moto 2?” Answer- Rider #93 because rider #93’s placement is better on moto 2 than ride
