How are the major NPCs handled?
Major NPCs and societies are controlled by the SDI and SDF teams. For a breakdown of which team controls which NPCs, check out the NPCs & Societies section of the web site. All NPCs listed in the FS literature are run by the respective SD teams. Some of these may be checked out following the same structure outlined for checking out known worlds. Some are controlled/run solely by the respective SD teams. Creation and use of high ranking NPCs not from the literature follows the approval breakdown listed above, but scaled back one rank.
