How Do You Sew A Tank Top?
Sewing a tank top is easy for seasoned sewers. It is also a good project for beginning sewers to start with. Use four cut pieces of the tank top, a front and back to the fashion fabric, and a front and back to the lining fabric. Follow the tips below to sew them together. Place the front and back of the fashion fabric with right sides together and pin into place. Sew the shoulder seams together with a regular straight stitch. Sew together the side seams from the arm holes down to the bottom of the tank top with a regular straight stitch. Stitch together the lining in the same manner. You can also make the tank top reversible by choosing another fashion fabric instead of lining. Pin the fashion fabric and lining together at the neckline and armholes. Place wrong sides together.
