How do I get new Blue or Grey boxes, and is there a container for yard waste?

A. Damaged Blue and Grey boxes can be replaced by visiting your nearest Recycling Container Pick-up Location at Booth Yard, 433 Eastern Ave. east of Broadview. Its hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. New residents are eligible for free boxes, however you must provide a utility bill that shows a new service charge/account set-up within the last three months. A yard waste bin is also available. Recycle boxes are available at Ward 30’s annual Environmental Day. Watch Councillor Fletcher’s web site for dates. You can also buy the City’s official recycling containers at Home Hardware stores in Toronto, for the same price that you pay at the City’s Reycling Container Pick-up Location. Prices including taxes are: Blue and grey box: $6 each Yard waste bin: $7 each For more information, see www.toronto.ca/garbage.
