Currently there is no API for third parties. We have however, determined that REST will be the principal method going forward. Having said this, we have not determined when we will implement this functionality. If you have a specific idea or need in mind, please let us know. We do have the ability to run FScript scripts (or FScript wrapped within AppleScript), but we have not documented the potential calls and methods.
