Pinatas are amazingly fun for kids of all ages and surprisingly easy to make. They require some creativity, some simple supplies and patience in between steps. Start by tearing your newspaper into strips. Strips about one inch wide are a good start. Overall, having strips in varying thicknesses will make your piƱata stronger. Mix your glue mixture. You want equal parts glue and water. Stir in the bowl with your fingers or whatever else you wish to use. Cover your worksurface in newspaper so you don’t get glue on the table. Blow up your balloons to the correct size. Try to keep all the legs the same size, make the head a bit bigger, and of course, make the body the largest. Start with the body. Take the largest balloon and place it in front of you. Dip strips of newspaper into your glue/water mixture and use your fingers to squeegee off the excess glue. Drape the strips across the balloon in varying directions. For instance, put the first few strips horizontally, followed by vertically
