What are common side effects of Actos?
The FDA has released statements saying that Actos has been linked with bladder cancer. People with Type 2 diabetes have been prescribed the drug to regulate blood sugar.

Mild Actos side effects include nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite and metallic taste. Other rare symptoms may include weight gain, congested nose, fever or persistent headache. However, it is essential that all diabetics regularly measure their blood sugars to ensure that the medication is working. Actos can worsen heart failure in some individuals. In rare cases, the drug may cause an allergic reaction which may present with itchiness, skin rash, swelling of the face or mouth and difficulty breathing.
