What is discrete and continous data?
Not sure about the error bars on a scatter graph, try it out in Excel, if you right click one of the points, it might come up as an option. But as for your data, it’s continuous. Discrete data is categorical, grouped. So if you artificially inseminated a field full of cows and you took note of which DAYS they gave birth, it’s discrete data. The results look like a tally and are whole numbers within a range. It falls within a category, which are the days of the week on a calendar. Continuous data is not categorical, all of the data points fit within a single range. So if you artificially inseminated a group of cows, they all gave birth on the same day and you took note of the precise TIME of each birth, it’s continuous data. It can also go into decimals, which discrete data cannot do. Yours is continuous because it’s not categorical. It could be any amount between 0 and the maximum volume of whatever measuring device you are using. Excuse the weird example I gave. I’ve got cows on the b
