Did caveman exist?
Early humans did indeed exist who exhibited a lot of the common stereotypical attributes of the “caveman.” Many archaeological sites within caves have discovered artifacts and remains of early humans, proving that they did to some extent occupy caves. Early humans could also make fire and it is commonly believed that they wore animal skins (although most of these decompose to nothing over time and thus can’t be uncovered). As for carrying clubs and grunting at each other, I guess we’ll never know.
