Why do married men sleep around?
I “slept around” once in all the time I was married, or in a committed relationship. That was after years of a nothing marriage, despite all the efforts I put in to make it work along the way. I ended the marriage soon after this, as I thought if it got that bad, it’s not worth continuing. I stayed as long as I did for the sake of the kids, but in the end, a loveless existence is no place to be. That is why I now wouldn’t hang around in a relationship where the woman loses her zest for love on a permanent basis. Most people need love, and when they can’t get it at home, even after much effort to make things work, the only solution is to find it elsewhere. This applies to men AND women, and is one of the saddest things about relationships. The promises of everlasting love, and the hopes of growing old together are dashed usually by one partner changing, and leaving the other in the cold. Totally unfair!
