What is College Bound?
College Bound is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides academic programs and services to prepare underserved students and their families for admission into and graduation from four-year institutions of higher education. College Bound has grown from 39 students in its first year to currently serving over 1,000 students and families.
College Bound is the continuation of Breakthrough. College Bound focuses on an academically rigorous course load while including enrichment activities with partners like Arts for Learning and NFTE. Further, College Bound provides services like SAT practice classes and college counseling to ensure that all former Breakthrough students thrive in high school and enroll at a top college or university.
