How does 24 hour monitoring work?
When a protected door is violated, or a motion detector is tripped, your sytem goes into alarm. At this point, the system seizes the phone line and sends a digital message to our local central station. The operator then calls the premise to confirm the alarm. If your phoneline is busy or no one answers, they will dispatch the police. If you set the alarm off yourself, wait for the operator to call, and give your ID number or password. When the proper password is given the alarm will be cancelled.
