Can renovations be claimed?
Yes. You can claim the ‘Special Building Write-Off’ for renovations, as long as they commenced after July 1985. Architect and Engineering fees incurred during renovations can also be claimed. Additionally, structural inclusions such as retaining walls and sealed driveways may also qualify if their construction commenced after February 1992.
