e-Billing is a convenient and reliable alternative to paper bills. You will be sent an email notification to your WPI email account when an e-Bill is available for viewing. You also have the ability to give access to authorized users to view your e-Bills and/or make e-Payments. Each person with access to the e-Bill can receive an email notification when a new e-Bill is generated if you provide their email address. There are several reasons why e-Bill is the official billing method at WPI. The primary reason is to provide faster and easier service to our students and their parents or guardians. The vast majority of students and parents are familiar and comfortable with the web culture. It has become commonplace to perform many daily transactions and communications via email and the Internet. Students will receive bills for tuition and fees electronically. A notice that the online bill is available will be sent to the student’s University assigned e-mail account usually during the first week of the term. Billing statements list the amount owed, the minimum payment due, and a due date. Bills will include charges such as tuition, fees, university housing, bookstore and miscellaneous charges.
Beginning with the Spring 2008 term, the Student Accounts Office converted from paper billing to an electronic process. In this process students and their authorized payers receive an e-mail notification that their billing statement is available for view on-line. This on-line statement can be printed.
