Is North Korea a Global Threat?
North Korea’s foremost national goal has historically been the reunification of the Korean Peninsula on North Korean terms. In fact, the country’s constitution describes reunification with South Korea as “the supreme national task,” and reunification continues to be a pervasive theme in the North Korean media.
