Is Shelly Martinez really into goth?
Well, yes and no really. For example, she used to compete under the name of Halloween Barbie, and was a contestant on the Search for the Next Elvira, a gothic-ish icon. On her MySpace she lists her interests to include horror movies, heavy and death metal, the Munsters and the Adams Family, and she’s even appeared in an indy horror movie, so she’s definately got some strong Goth influences there. But, she’s also a rock chick, and a bit of a punk too, as well as Elvis and Dean Martin and a big fan of Disneyland, so I guess you’d have to describe her as a real mixture, just like most people I suppose.
