Can goldfish change color?
Yes goldfish can change colors. I had one go from almost solid orange when it was a baby to a patchwork pattern as an adult! One thing to be aware of is if there are any white spots that look like little tufts of cotton, it’s a fungus. Also, some fungus’ are black and go around the edges of their fins. Plus there’s always the dreaded “ich” which looks like sugar granules. If your fish get any of those you’ll have to get a fungus treatment and follow the directions on the package.
