Is Wesley a good guitar company ?
Actually for the price it has one feature that stands out. The neck is what’s called a “set neck” which means the neck is glued into the body. This provides a bit better tone and sustain than the more common, bolt on necks you’ll find in the cheaper copy guitars. The cheapest Epiphone Les Paul copy that has a set neck is about 175-200 pounds sterling. The price of this one is close to what a Squier Strat guitar costs, and those aren’t the worst cheap guitars, actually they aren’t that bad at all. So, if you like the one your cousin has and it plays how you like it to play, I see no reason not to get it. It has a Tune 0 Matic bridge which is good too. The white one looks nice, as well.
