A. Open mic means that anyone with any level of comedy experience (or no experience at all) can perform comedy or any humorous acts on stage. Interested performers show up on the scheduled open mic night and sign up on a sign up sheet. (S)he then performs on stage in either English or in Bangla, whatever is his/her choice. The open mic is used for new comedians to try out the art form and for more experienced comedians to try out new material in front of a live audience. It is also an opportunity for upcoming comedians to showcase their acts to the management in order become regular performers of the club.
