What is the Purpose of the Skunk?
Some will say the skunk, or any living creature, needs not a purpose. A skunk has every right to live, to procreate, to stink. I wholeheartedly agree. The skunk has every right to strut the earth with its cute little black and white body and fluffy tail. However, being nosy as I am, I wanted to know specifically if a skunk serves a purpose on earth that has some profound meaning… a reason to make me ever so grateful for its existence and perhaps shed even a few tears in mourning as I pass it by as road kill. Therefore, I felt it only my duty to share with you, the ever so intellectual, curious and also perhaps nosy reader, as to if the skunk serves a purpose on this planet. First of all, in my hunt, I discovered that the skunk is found only in North America ranging from Canada to Central Mexico. Wow, can you imagine that! South America is completely deprived of the notorious smell us Northern Americans have grown to love or hate. I have a dear friend who swears to me that every time
