Which camera for wild bird photos?
Photography is like playing an instrument: lots of practice with any instrument will get you good results. I have done a lot of good photography with cheap, fixed-focus 35mm cameras as I grew up. These days, you can get 800 ISO disposable flash cameras that take better pictures than I ever could with the one I had ten years earlier! The disposable cameras have better lenses, and film still captures a lot more detail than digital for the same price. However, I love my Pentax Optio M50 digital camera. I get lots of zoom (25.5X). I can adjust the lighting and the white balance. I have modes to take action pictures and pictures in different modes, including panorama and up close. I even have a way to record sound to go with the picture. There is also a movie mode as well. It will record as long as my 2GB memory card has space.
