A student budget is the average cost of attendance which includes the following expenses: tuition and fees, room and board, books, travel, loan fees, and miscellaneous expenses. The budget can also include program-specific tool costs identified by the different colleges, and day care expenses for children of independent students. A student can never receive more financial aid than the student budget.
