Do computers make people illiterate?

Thanks for this very interesting question. Although I beg to disagree that computers make people illiterate. There is no doubt that computers (including the thousands of computer programs and the internet) make life easier and the world smaller as compared decades ago. Through these technological advances we actually have in our grasp whatever knowledge there is to know in this world. With a couple of searches and clicks, any person (anywhere in this world) can now get an education with whatever questions or problems he has in mind. Everything is within our grasp today. If I need to learn correct English grammar, I just search for a website offering tutorials. And you will be surprised that there isn’t just one or two websites – but hundreds of them. So, it’s like going to different schools in just one sitting. Could you just imagine the amount of knowledge you can learn because of computers? If I like to learn synonyms or antonyms, I could just click the thesaurus on my word processin
