As of May 5, 2000, the main web server (www.gamefaqs.com) is a custom-built 2X400MHz PII, and the interactive server (cgi.gamefaqs.com) is a Dell PowerEdge 2X600MHz PIII. Both boxes run Internet Information Server 4.0 under Windows NT 4.0. The cgi.gamefaqs.com server uses Sybase SQL Anywhere as its back-end databse. All other coding (message boards, poll, search engine) is custom-written for GameFAQs and not available for public use.
