Whats the relationship between resolution and refresh rates ?
Resolution is the number of pixels on your screen. Pixels are dots of light that make up your computer monitor’s picture, similar to how dots of ink make up a printed picture. 640 x 480 resolution means there are 480 rows of pixels on your screen from top to bottom and each row contains 640 pixels, from left to right, for a total of 307,200 pixels (640 x 480). The refresh rate is the rate at which these pixels are drawn onto your computer screen. The computer paints them on from left to right, top to bottom, many times a second. For example, a refresh rate of 60 Hz means each pixel is “drawn” on your computer screen 60 times each second.
