Where are feral cats ?
Feral cats sleep in barns, abandoned buildings, parks, alleyways, dumpsters; They make their home wherever they can find food. Cats will band together in groups called colonies. These colonies will multiply exponentially if the cats are left unsterilized. The goal of Voice For Animals, Milton Chapter is to control the population of these colonies through non-lethal methods. Some people opt to eradicate the colony through euthanasia. Studies show, however, that a new colony will eventually congregate in the same area. Trap-Neuter-Return will keep the colony manageable. Barns Needed! As often as possible we return cats to their original site. Sometimes, for various reasons, this is not possible. We relocate these cats to clean, safe barns. We are always in need of barns and volunteers who will feed the cats regularly. Feral cats are afraid of humans and will typically keep to themselves once relocated. Feral cats do find comfort in each other. For this reason we ask that they be relocate
