DocPoint supports SQL in three of the most popular implementations: Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Oracle. While the Corporate Edition is designed to work with and SQL server, it is possible for small businesses to use the Professional Edition with an MDB database. Doing so reduces the initial cost of implementation, and upgrading the database infrastructure from MDB to SQL later on is a simple procedure. The Personal Edition is designed for a single user and employs an MDB database.
