Maintenance is for new versions, such as for the new version 2.0. If a customer subscribes for Smooth Maintenance on a product they will receive all new versions of that product for the next 12 months. Shipping will normally be directly from SmoothWall Limited on CD and sent via standard airmail. If you check our end-user price list (15 April 2002) you will see we charge 50 for SmoothMaint for Corporate Server. When we release 2.0, which has numerous improvements over 1.0, the price will increase from 75 to 125, with an upgrade price of 50. So the Maintenance option is very fairly priced, as it also gives customers 2.1 etc. when that is released.
