Why choose the Fethiye region?
Fethiye is a market town with a natural harbour that is lined year round with fishing boats, gulets, yachts and daily charters offering a cruise around the many outlying islands that are scattered in this part of the Mediterranean. The air is fresh and the scenery is stunning, just a couple of factors which encourage visitors to arrive in their droves, especially during the summer months. The town is busy, particularly at the beginning of the week when the locals do their official business and every Tuesday there is a weekly Bazaar, the largest in the area, when the villagers from the surrounding areas come together to offer produces from their land and homes. The closest airport to Fethiye is Dalaman, the journey taking less than an hour.
