A torrent that hasn’t been seeded yet is dead. So is a torrent where a ban was lifted but no seeder has announced since the lift. [See this other FAQ item.] If your new torrent or freshly unbanned torrent is on the dead list, that’s normal. It will move to the active list automatically upon the arrival or return of a seeder — you or anyone else who can seed it.
