What is a Woodlouse?

0

Members of the species Woodloucius Superius are large man-sized highly evolved giant woodlice. They have only 6 legs, 4 of which can serve as hands. When running on all 6 legs, members of this species have been recorded as being able to achieve a linear velocity of up to 85 miles per hour. They are comparable in intelligence with humans, have lungs, a dense carapace, no neck, and a fondness for tea and scones. We theorize that the ancestral divergence from which this species originated was a mutant form of woodlice with only 6 legs. As most of a woodlouse’s brains are taken over by the large motor-reflex control clusters necessary for coordination of the standard 14 legs, this lack of legs paradoxically freed up the necessary excess brain power needed to stimulate a gradual shift into intelligence and advancement.
