What is Masala Dancercise?
Masala Dancercise is a form of aerobic exercise that uses large muscle groups, can be maintained continuously, and is inspired by choreography from Bollywood, the world’s largest movie making center. At Masala Dancercise, we study and pickup the best music and choreography from India and convert them into exercise routines. The way the routines work is to first warm up and stretch. And, then to gradually raise the tempo and rigor of the exercise. The areas that dancercise works on are the heart, torso and limbs. Additionally, we build flexibility that helps reduce back injuries and sprains from overstreching. Dancercise is created more like a dance class than a gym class, making it more fun and less stressful. Experience has shown that when people enjoy an activity, they are more likely to continue doing it on a longer term basis. So, we have made exercising a lot of fun.
