So, how will the result look on VHS tape?
Surprisingly, considering all the criticism that has been made of VHS, it will look just fine. If the source material is great, the VHS copy will look great, too. However, be sure to use a good quality VHS tape. Off-brand tape can produce very poor results. It’s worth remembering, too, that high definition video often does not translate well to VHS or DVD because the higher resolution is not seen but the larger amount of compression is.
