Why do cats dribble?

0

I’ve had cats my entire life, and only 6 years ago did I encounter a “drooler.” She’s a cat who loves to knead, and purrs like crazy when she does. And, while she’s happily into that, she drools. I checked with our vet, and they assured me that nothing was wrong – this is just something some cats do. So, love your cat. Make sure you spay or neuter them, and keep them as indoor only cats. Cats who are allowed outdoors are allowed to encounter other cats to fight, dogs to chase them, cats to hit them, and horrible people who go through neighborhoods stealing outdoor animals and selling them to research labs. This happens more commonly than anyone wants to imagine. Keep them safe.
