Who is Domenico Dolce?
Prominent fashion designer Domenico Dolce is one half of the haute couture designing duo better known as Dolce and Gabbana. This talented designer is Italian by birth and you can see the influence of his classical and romantic heritage many of the high end fashions that he creates. Domenico Dolce made his arrival in 1958 when he was born to a family living in a tiny Sicilian town. His family operated a clothing factory and young Domenico began to help out by performing a variety of chores alongside other relatives. As he reached adulthood he knew that he wanted to do more than simply produce clothing for others and then he began to indulge his true passion by studying fashion design. In 1980, at the age of 22, he was introduced to another designer named Stefano Gabbana and by 1982 there were in business together creating high fashion clothing that was marketed with their label, Dolce and Gabbana.
