How Do You Make Bathtime Fun?
If you turn bathtime into fun time for your children, they’ll soon be begging you for a chance to jump into the tub. Just follow these steps. Sing bathtime songs. You can take a popular children’s song and replace the words with bathtime terms. For example you can sing “This is the way we wash our hair” to the words of “Here we go round the mulberry bush”. Use bathtime tints. You’ll find colored fizzy balls sold at stores such as Target in the children’s shampoo aisle. You can let your child put the tints in the bath and watch the water turn colors. Play with bath crayons while in the tub. Let your child color all over the wall and tub. She’ll find it fun and exciting to actually be able to color the wall and the crayons wash off with just water. Make rainbow fish out of sponges. Cut the sponges into different fish shapes and let your child catch them. You also can use multi-colored sponges. Let your child “cook” in the bathtub. Put some little pots and pans in a tub full of bubbles. T
