How Do You Install The Electrical Connectors To A Car Alternator?

0

A car is a complex machine and the alternator is just one important part of the machine. The function of the alternator is to make sure the battery stays charged. The alternator has a simple function, but repairs to it can be difficult. Disconnect all the old wiring from the alternator and then unscrew from the engine. Place the new alternator over the holes and attach it with a new nut and bolt. Search for the two wires–one black with a white stripe and the other white with a black stripe. Run the white wire with the black stripe into the “L” connector and attach to the terminal. Improve the connection by soldering the wire to the terminal. Cut off the old connector wire. Add grease to the connector and install into the terminal. Find the fuse holder and run a wire to the B terminal on the battery. Attach the old output wire onto the B terminal at the same time as the fuse holder wire.
