Do CFRs have emergency vehicles?
Generally, no, as blue lights and sirens are not permitted under the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989, but CFR schemes may have their own scheme vehicle which has distinctive markings and an approved light box on their roof to indicate they are ‘On Call’ to an emergency on behalf of their local ambulance service. The vehicle may have been sponsored by a car dealership, or other organisation or local community.
