Who May Take the ESL Program?
All international applicants who want to get admissions ‘into ivy Christian Academy are eligible to take the ESL program. All international applicants who want to increase their English skills can enroll in the ESL program. All ICAVA students whose English skills are not good enough to take English courses provided by iCAVA are recommended to take the ESL program. All ICAVA students who do not meet the English requirement for graduation are required to take the ESL program. All applicants should meet general admission requirements required by ICAVA Placement & Recommendations Students are required to take the English Proficiency Test (EP1) at the beginning of the term for placement and again at the end of the term to show progress. Students will show proficiency in English 1) by passing the course with a grade of C or higher and 2) by scoring well on the EPT at the end of the course.
