How does recruiting work at Gannett?
Recruiting in Gannett is done locally – at our individual locations including newspapers, television stations and their associated Web sites – and at a corporate level. Locally, hiring managers post open positions, select local recruiting venues (such as job fairs), review the credentials of applicants, choose whom to interview and eventually hire. On a national level, Gannett corporate recruiters identify qualified candidates for our newspaper, online, broadcast and other operations. Positions recruited on a national level include those in news, advertising/sales, marketing, finance, information technology and more.
