What are the ph and finger options?
Solution: Finger is a program that takes an Email address as input and returns information about the user who owns that Email address. Finger reports the user’s real name and login information. This could be helpful if you want to know who has been sending you Email from a certain address. Ph is a program that acts like a phone book. If you input a name (first or last), the Ph server will search to find all matches to that name. The ph program will return information such as phone number, fax, Email address, office address, etc. To access either the finger or ph programs, select Directory Services from the Tools menu.
