Is it possible to remove the standard stereo in a 2007 Honda Civic LX sedan and install an aftermarket stereo?

I have an aftermarket stereo that I need to install into a 2007 Honda Civic LX and I can’t get a solid answer from anyone if it’s even possible. It doesn’t look like the standard 2007 Civic LX stereo head unit can even be removed. It looks likes it’s molded into the dashboard. Please help. Thanks. A: A DIN or double-DIN radio can be installed into your Civic, using a special mounting kit. It’s just a little more expensive than most.
