Who Invented Bobby Pins?
I always lose my bobby pins, so I’m glad they come in packs of 100. Now exactly who invented the bobby pin is hard to pin down. It first came into use in the 1920s to hold in place the popular bob styles of that era. A trademark was given to use the term ‘bobby pin’ to a Smith Victory Corp. of Buffalo, New York.
