Well, Jesus performed miracles for 2 basic reasons. The first was to help someone. Jesus never did miracles just for fun or for show. He always did a miracle to help someone, because that is what Jesus is all about. He provide bread and fish for hungry people, healed people who were sick, stopped a storm when his disciples were afraid, and in his first miracle even helped an embarrased host at a wedding. He always wanted to help someone in His miracles. The other reason for Jesus’ miracles was to show Who He is. His miralces gave proof that He was God.
