Is UPS raising their rates?
Any responsible business will adjust its prices according to its costs or else it will go out of business, and be no good to its employees, investors, customers, and even the IRS. All costs must be passed on to the customer in one form or another (this is why increased taxes and fees on businesses are really just tax increases on the general public). UPS did announce a price increase which will go into effect on January 1, 2007 (graciously, after the holiday shipping season).
