Are sub sandwiches healty?
I wouldn’t say that they are “really” healthy but when it comes to fast food, they are one of the better choices out there. Mustard is the better alternative to mayo however you have to watch the amount you put on your sub as mustard does contain a lot of sugar. Adding cheese alters the nutritional value of your sandwich as well due to a high fat and/or sugar/salt content of the cheese. The same can be said for the meats that are available. If you are looking for a healthy sub, then order a veggie sub on whole wheat bread.
