Does the ELC plan include public and private high schools?
For the first year of implementation, ELC will be in effect at all California comprehensive public high schools and only those private high schools accred-ited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Following the first year of implementation, the University will reevaluate this issue. Are ELC students guaranteed admission to UC? ELC students are guaranteed admission to one of UC’s eight undergraduate campusesalthough not necessarily their first choice campusprovided they submit a UC application for undergraduate admission during the November filing period, satisfactorily complete remaining “a-f” requirements and take the SAT I (or ACT) and required SAT II tests.
