Can a student with an IEP enroll?

0

If a student has an IEP the parent must provide a copy to the Director of Vancouver Virtual Learning Academy for review. The Director in consultation with the Vancouver Public Schools Special Education Department will determine if the Specially Designed Instruction described in the IEP may be met in an online learning environment, or if the instruction will need to occur in a classroom at a comprehensive high school. Vancouver Virtual Learning Academy will enroll students with IEPs who also attend a comprehensive high school for Specially Designed Instruction.
