What is Transactional Analysis (TA)?

0

My practice is founded upon the theoretical framework of Transactional Analysis using life-script and ego-state models. It is a decisional model which uses a contractual method where the client and therapist take joint responsibility to achieve goals. These goals promote autonomy for the client. TA is based on open communication with the premise that “people are OK” at the forefront. TA is a powerful tool to bring about human well-being. TA utilizes a contract for specific changes desired by the client and involves the “Adult” in both the client and therapist, and the inclination to sort out behaviours, emotions and thoughts that prevent the development of full human potential.
