A caveat is a legal instrument applied to register land titles in the Saskatchewan Land Registration Office. A caveat informs people looking at the title of secondary interests held in the land by parties other than the landowner. The Planning and Development Act, 2007 allows subdivision approving authorities and municipal councils to register caveats. Two types can be found on the Municipal Dedicated Lands and Servicing Agreements pages on our site.
